(source: www.worldvision.com.au)

Tim Costello's meeting.

Community. We are believers in the community, connecting with the community, blessing the community.
Community - we might not all think, believe, dress or look alike but we can get on well together. No loneliness, no solving problems alone.

I encourage you to get out.
When we get a lot of money, it's to bless others.
He also encouraged us to be entrepreneural.

I Love You Jesus

I Hate To Change...

There are things in life that I hate to change. Some of the things in life that I'm thankful stays the same:

The Word of God (Bible)
God
My name
My gender
My calling
My destiny
The need to eat.
The need to read.
The desire to worship.
The desire to pray.

Thank God some things stay the same.

An Ode to My Dad

Thanks Dad
For love, provisions and gifts
For being an encouragement
And a friend indeed

I will always want the best for you
And I pray and hope we'll be fine
To challenge every mountain
That life brings in time

May we be known as the dad and son
Who did life together
Who shared the love and sorrow
Who was a real team together

I thank God you married mum
If not I was not to be
I thank God you made the effort
She's a pretty woman, isn't she

As for the brothers around me
It's said, "brothers are born for adversity"
So when there are troubled times around
For my brothers I will fight indeed

Life's not very easy
As we can testify
But God's inside our heart
So we'll conquer the battle inside

This is My Effort to Be Poetic

[HEART emotions]

The bitter poison of hurt
The joyful glee of bliss
The warmth felt from love
And beautiful days of ease

Then there's the racing of the heart
Especially when an assignment's due
Or the quick beating of the heart
When someone beautiful's near you

How vast are the emotions
That run through me everyday
But one thing that remains the same
Is that a Saviour's living there today

The amazing direction of the Holy Spirit
Speaking to my heart at all times
Stills me when I'm worried
Brings me confidence in blurry times

How my heart runs for You, Lord
As a racer goes for the gold
There is none like you, Lord
Compared to you, gold are like stone

And I'll live today Lord
To know and love you more
To love my fellow brother...

I'll fight selfishness
I'll kill pride
To be united with others
For a vision so bright

There. Thanks Sharon for inspiring me to write this. You're a legend. = )

Life... it's a Battle Some Time

This is one of the days I thank God I have lots of friends. Really treasured ones who can give great advice. Chatted with Sharon, Kel and Pris today. Oh, it's official: Shirley has a boyfriend. Wow, the guy David got a gem. Heaven's angels probably have heard lots from God and lotsa prayers have gone to the throne room of heaven.

Anyway, I gotta get back to work.

For great friends who have been in my life. Thank you.

Sunday - 1st October

Sunday was great.

"Get Out of Bed" - Ps. Russell's message
Stand on the Word of God - read, meditate, get your mind renewed by the Word of God, fight the devil with the Word of God, keep yourself from being polluted by the world, fight for healing.

Pei Jet talked about doing your bits to help out.

Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

Sunday 24 Sept - An awesome day

Sunday! (the Lord's day) ...and so it was amazing. The atmosphere at church was great! We had impromptu rap sessions by Paul Bergin and Ps. Russell even did an electric guitar solo!

Ps. Glenn shared about our kingship and it has been strippen from us because of our sin. He also shared for us to think about all the things God said we can do compared to what He said we can't. He also shared that sin is a breaker of our connection to God (the source of life) giving an analogy of a fish asking the diver to take off his mask and oxygen source. If we want to live we gotta give our lives away. I was touched when he said, "I'm calling you to come because I love you" to the new people who were deciding to accept Christ. His story about visiting his dorm to the place where he met Jesus and crying with the other boy who was now living there gave me the sense that I want to live my life so that many people will experience that same thing. Time to rock the campus!

Ray, Trish, Jojo and the rest gave me a great birthday presentation with cake, dinner and all for Sunday. Thanks guys (I'm kinda tearing)... I was really touched. It was great. : )

I can't imagine life without Jesus (the source of life). Worshipping Him. Hearing from Him from His Word. Engaging truths and learning wisdom. Clearly I'm hungry for more of the Word of God. = )

Gotta get the world saved! : )

Tuesday (26 Sept) was soccer day

Oh yeah, we beat the other team 15-8. = ) It was great (the team scoring so many goals). : )

Birthday Post (Fri Sept 22)

This is a post of the happenings on my birthday. It began with going to the final day of the course at Oracle University. It was a fun course, meeting with Micheal and Stuart, getting body building tips from Terry and just chatting with Tom about career options.

Then it was time to head off for Planet Worship! = ) Man, it was an awesome time. There were rap songs, new worship songs and a really good message. Good enough for me to decide to sign up for the whole day the next day. The next day we had worship leading sessions where Ps. Henry Seeley spoke about listening to God to get people out of their Jericho and letting God into the hearts during worship. He also stirred us to prophecy in our song writing, write songs for now and shared about interpreting the sound of heaven on earth. The band had an amazing solo session with Q & A's after that. The heart was the most important criteria to be in the worship band, according to Ps. Henry. We (Sarah, Nik and I) had fun sitting and listening to it all. Oh, Piltzey also shared about his role as supporting guitarist which I felt was helpful for me a lot.

Planet Worship was amazing. I learnt that it's all about Jesus and seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you. Go God! Go Jesus! = )

By the way, 23rd Sept was also Ps. Russell's birthday. Kary, Emalyn, Billie and I got a card and some Koko Black chocolate for him. We love you, Ps. Russell. : )
