Amazing Early Christmas Party

We don't get many Christmas parties. Because they all happen once a year. This one was really one to remember (23 Nov 2006).

It had an amazing atmosphere of praise and worship. 35+ very friendly people in Wei Sern's house. Amazing amount of food and lots of fun and games. Man, I am so blessed to be part of these Urban Lifes.

For those wondering what I have been doing, I have been applying for jobs all around. I have got one interview so far. If you know any jobs available (part time, full time or casual) please e-mail me. Thanks. = )

Victor, We Will Miss You...

To a great brother-in-Christ, friend, companion, soccer team mate and all-round-good-guy. Victor, we will miss you very, very much. We will keep in touch and keep you in our prayers.
All the best in you attempts to get a HR job in Malaysia. Will see how I can help.
I guess further from us means you're closer to Brenda.
God bless you, man. = )

What To Do When Faced With So Many Choices

(source: http://forums.yugiohetc.com/

First, take a deep breathe.

Then write down all the choices. Ask yourself, 'Do I really want this?'

Think long term. How does this affect my family, friends, future, happiness (relative for everyone).

Think 'How long will it take to achieve this?'

Remember, some things in life can have 'and':
I can have a great family and enjoy what I do most of my time and do well in sports.

Consider the things that waste time and should be neglected.

Happy Birthday, Priscilla

Water dunked, serenaded by the candles, beach side, friends all around. This described the birthday of our friend, Priscilla from my view. I loved her squeal when she went, "I like" as she opened the necklace bought by heaps of the Ocf brothers and sisters. Long late night chatter over a great apartment filled with a nice tv, quality furniture and a steam boat stove. Man, this is the life.

We also had a marvellous, beautiful scenic ride over the Great Ocean Road. Now I understand why they call it the Great (man, it was really great)... Ocean (which was magnificent)... Road (it was a long windy road). If anyone walking on planet earth has not seen it, go see it. = )

(pictures coming soon)

My Dad...

My dad (centre), being flanked by (from the left) me, mum, Abel and Andrew.

This is a tribute to my dad and a description of him. Just in case anyone reading my blog doesn't know where I get the good looks from (besides God). = )

My dad... businessman, father, provider, willing-to-joke -er, restaurant food lover, golfer, tennis player, husband and friend.

Times spent with my dad the past few days reinforces my appreciation on how special he is. I consider the times he coaches people, faces challenges and learns to lean upon the Lord.

Thanks for all the dinners, prayers, support, being there and walking this journey of life with you. Especially thank you for loving mum and the family and trying to spend time with us to create moments. Life is not always about the moments you breathe but the moments that take your breathe away. Hope we have more great moments like these as a family.

The Beauty of Life

The summer springs
The flower blooms
How great it is...
to live life with You

Hearing laughter
Seeing smiles...
of everyone...
smiling back at you

Life is for living
Life's meant to be fun
Living in harmony...
with everyone

Jesus gives fulfilment in life. Joy comes out of a great relationship with God and people. Finding your purpose and bringing significance brings fulfilment in everyday living.

"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." - Jesus words (John 15:5)

How Much Do You Want It?

In the game of life, the stage is set.

How much do you want to win it?
How willing are you to up your game? To pray, seek, study, work and up your game?
This time I'm not going to complain or gripe. I'll get to work and up my game.
