Band Competition and Urban Life Multiplication

Thank God for a great Urban Life. Man, we're really spiritual family praying together and loving each other. 'Heaven on earth' I call it. It's amazing that there will be 3 groups now (2 in Clayton, 1 in Caulfield).

Thanks Rach, Sam, Finikias, Tuck Wee, Sarah, Peggen, Hau Wei, Jon, Christine, Kevin, Wei Sern, Mei Ling, Mei Ying, Karl, Fifie, Laura, Andrew, Sam, MK, Victoria, Joshua, KK, Logic, Chris, E-Lyn and Sarah for the prayers, outings, Bible verses, sharings. Man, you guys are family away from Malaysia.

Band Practice at Vincent's Office Top

Sam, Nik, Vincent and I went to Vincent's office at night yesterday to practice for the band competition coming up on Wednesday 2:00 p.m. Some of the pics that were taken could not be saved in my phone. Never mind. We still have some good ones.

Sunday Service, Church, Food and Fellowship

Today I sent Isma to the airport to Brunei at 6:10 a.m. = ) Had a great chat with him and he told me about his ringtone and sms business. He gave me his contact in case I went to Brunei. Bless him and his wife. : )

It was a rainy day. So Wai Peng, Hui, Kevin and I drove to church. It was such an excellent service. We sang a new song with the theme of living for Christ's cause for all our life with all we are! Amen! Wai Peng and Hui responded to get more information about Jesus's love and get the book Eternity. So it was the first time going to the book downstairs to the room where they bring people who respond to the message. We then headed to the New People's Lounge for coffee, biscuits, meeting new people and for Wai Peng and Hui to get their free cds. : )

We all then headed to Papa Ginos for pizza and pasta. Met lots of Urban Life members and some new friends like Jeremy and Jeffrey. The atmosphere was amazing. The street behind was wet after the rain, the pizza, bread and pasta was fabulous, the service of the waiters were great and the conversations were generally nice. Off we went after that for gelati at Gelatissimo.

ooh, like macca's

i was so tempted to stand next to the poster holding my gelati up

Soccer and Day Out

We had a real fun time playing soccer today. Scored lots of goals. There were some marvellous solo runs from Raymond. There were also some accidental shots and injuries.

After that we had a really delicious Vietnamese lunch at Springvale. Man, the beef noodle soup, chilli and spring rolls were great! We were a bit late because we were helping Jojo buy her laptop from Dick Smith's Powerhouse.

The Powerhouse was so cool. It had videos, laptops, DVDs, PSPs... We hads lots of fun checking out the electronic stuff there.

mmm... ps...

the monitors at the music centre showed 4-5 screens simultaneously. very eye-catching

jojo got her new laptop! it has 1GB RAM, DVD-RW, Nvidia graphics card, Altec Lansing speakers...

We also headed out to Pancake Parlour courtesy of John. He was so generous. I want to be like that when I get my paycheck. Anyway, along the way I saw this vintage carousel in the shopping mall. It brought me back to my childhood days. Really retro.

Woo hoo

i'm so excited about the graduation
